In Port Moresby- You can not get the straight foward answer if some one died of AID.

Just over the the last weekend, one of the Divisional Director in the organization I am involve with passed away. I asked my other collegues how did it happen? They say he has been sick for a while. I asked, what is the diseacese? They say we don't know. But it obviouse you can tell they knew, also I have been observing the victim himself for a while. So my respond to them was I think its HIV/AIDS.
You see, when I or some one is inffected with any diseacese appart from AIDS I can comfortably tell others that or yes, I have TB, Birb flue, or Pheumonia, or an STIs diseasceses, but not when it comes to HIV/AIDS. I can not tell others. Especially in the working environmnet.
We see and heard our collegues and wantoks (relatives) died of AIDs but when an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign is conducted in the office area we make fun of it and even don't entertained it.
IGNORANCE IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IN PNG- to the danger of what HIV/AIDS is.
