Parkop is Calling on PNG Government to be more Moral and Humanistic Regarding West Papua.

The Governor of National Capital District is calling on the Government to adopt a more moral and humanistic policy regarding West Papua. Powes Parkop describes PNG's policy in recognising Indonesian's sovereignty over West Papua without reservation as immoral out-dated and inhumane. Governor Parkop adds that he will be making a submission to the National Executive Council and impress them to change their current policy. He says Indonesia is oblige to correct this historical mistake that continue to recut the progress of the Papuan people and hinder their freedom. Parkop adds that when Indonesia starts recognising West Papua PNG and Indonesia will enjoy a more robust and an honest relationship.
